Janiya Breeden is a 3D artist from the small town of Wagram, NC and will be graduating with a BFA in Studio arts, CONC in Animation from the University of North Carolina Greensboro in May of 2025. She originally planned to create 2D animation when starting at UNCG in 2021, but that changed once she attended an intro to 3D modeling class with Dan Hale, completely pivoting her art interest and career and showing a new side of 3D art she never thought existed. Her art practice and focus is heavily inspired by retro low poly PlayStation and Nintendo 64 games.
